I have received a very friendly e-mail from James Kempster, Frederick's great-nephew. He explained that most of the information available on the internet about his great-uncle Frederick Kempster is pure fiction. James has written a more accurate early history of Frederick's life based on family stories and first-hand records of the Barnardo Organization. I have downgraded Dora Helms from 6'10" to 6'7" tall. Closer inspection of the images with Kaatje van Dyk suggest that she was only 6'7" at her peak (which was before she became one of the van Droysen sisters).
